14WCC Welcome message

Welcome to Victoria, Australia – proud host of the 14th World Chambers Congress (14WCC).

Victoria is a place of extraordinary ambition, innovation and enterprise. From our vibrant capital city of Melbourne to our thriving regions, Victoria is home to a dynamic business community that powers Australia’s economy – across agriculture, advanced manufacturing, energy, health tech, education, tourism and professional services.

We are proud to welcome delegates from around the world to a state renowned as Australia’s multicultural capital and the undisputed sporting and major events capital of the country. From Grand Slam tennis to the F1 Grand Prix, from world-class wine regions to cutting-edge research precincts, Victoria offers more than just business – it offers an experience.

The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is honoured to lead this year’s Congress in collaboration with the International Chamber of Commerce World Chambers Federation. We stand at the forefront of policy, advocacy and services that help businesses thrive – locally and globally.

Australian leadership continues to shape the international chamber movement. John Denton AO serves as Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce, alongside Claire Millar, Chief Operating Officer at International Chamber of Commerce and Victorian Peter McMullin AM, President of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Their contributions speak volumes about the calibre of Australian business leadership on the world stage.

This year, many of the world’s foremost business, chamber and government leaders will gather here – ready to connect, collaborate and chart a course for shared success.

Under the theme ‘Business, chambers, government – Partners for prosperity’, this Congress is your platform to exchange ideas, tackle global challenges and shape the policies and partnerships that will define the future. Whether it’s navigating the skills shortage, driving the energy transition, addressing gender equality or unlocking the potential of AI and innovation, these issues demand a united response – and there is no better place than Victoria to lead that conversation.

Welcome to 14WCC!
