Visa information for 14WCC delegates
All international delegates attending the 14th World Chambers Congress in Melbourne, Australia (2–4 September 2025) are responsible for arranging their own travel documentation. Most visitors to Australia will require a valid visa to enter the country.
How to Apply
Applying for your Australian visa is straightforward through the official Australian Government channels.
✅ Visit the Department of Home Affairs website: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/
✅ Use the online system ImmiAccount to submit your application and upload supporting documents.
✅ Popular visa options for business visitors include:
Visitor visa (subclass 600) – Business Stream – most applicable for 14WCC delegates
eVisitor (subclass 651) – For eligible passport holders
Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) (subclass 601) – For eligible passport holders
Check which visa is appropriate for your country of passport on the Department of Home Affairs website.
Tips for a Smooth Application
Apply early: Allow plenty of time. We recommend international delegates apply at least 6–8 weeks before travel.
Prepare documents: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel date.
We recommend your registration details (first name, surname and email address) exactly match those you will enter on the visa application.
Include supporting information: You may need a copy of your 14WCC registration confirmation, accommodation details, and financial details.
- All delegates will receive a Letter of Invitation to 14WCC upon completion of payment for their Congress ticket which can be used during visa applications.
Check eligibility: Requirements vary by nationality. Confirm visa types and processing times on the official website.
Monitor your application: Use your ImmiAccount to track progress and provide additional documents if requested.
Important
Only use the official Australian Government website or authorized service providers.
Upon receipt of full payment, a Letter of Invitation will be automatically issued to the email you entered into the registration platform within 24-48 hours. Please check your junk mail if you do not receive or contact the support help-desk via email 14wccsupport@icmsaust.com.au or call +61 3 9682 0500.
